Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) program by the American Safety & Health Institute is designed for non-EMS responders who desire or require certification in Emergency Medical Response. This program is consistent with national EMS curriculum requirements and educations standards. It is ideal for those who need training comparable to Emergency Medical Responder, but do not need licensure or credentialing from a state EMS agency such as Full EMT-B.
Course Structure: This course is broken down into 3 days.
Intended Audience: Government, corporate, industry, lifeguards, security personnel, law enforcement, corrections personnel, and other individuals who are not EMS professionals or healthcare providers.
Course Book: Emergency Medical Responder: First on Scene, 9th ed. Available to rent at no additional charge.
Certification: Upon successful course completion students will receive a certification card in Emergency Medical Response (EMR) by The American Safety & Health Institute.
